About the John Deere Military Hiring Program:

JDMHP is a free program open to current and former members of the US Armed Forces and is compatible with Army CSP and Skillbridge internships at locations nationwide. This program is also compatible with Army CSP and Skillbridge internships at dealerships nationwide. Our dealers are independently owned companies separate from John Deere. Submitting a contact card does not guarantee an internship or employment.

Are you currently on Active Duty and looking for a Career Skills Program or Skillbridge Internship?

Then complete the contact card and apply for current opportunities with John Deere dealers nationwide that match your skill and interests. Most applications will ask if you're currently a member or a veteran of the US Armed Forces and some dealers even have specific applications just for CSP/Skillbridge interns. Either way, submitting a job application as a candidate for a CSP/Skillbridge intern is acceptable. During the application and interviewing process you will be able to talk to dealers about your internship goals. Also, contact card information is automatically shared with dealers even if you didn't complete a specific job application. Dealers may proactively reach out to you about internship opportunities just based off of your career preferences and geographic selections.

Don't qualify for a Career Skills Program or Skillbridge internship?

No problem. If you're on active duty and won't be able to participate in an internship you can still get signed up for free training and apply to current dealer job postings. As stated earlier most dealer applications will ask if you're a veteran of the US Armed forces and during the application and interviewing process you will be able to talk to dealers about your military service and availability date. All John Deere benefits apply to members of the National Guard, Reserves, and Veterans.

What are the John Deere benefits?

John Deere benefits start with the free training you get access to when you complete a contact card but they don't end there. Deere dealer mechanics hired through this program also qualify for discounts on John Deere branded hand tools and boxes.
